IMA SCULPTURE PARK Volunteer Opportunities:

What are some possible Volunteer Opportunities at the IMA Sculpture Park?

  • Sculpture Park Tour Guide and Greeter at Park Entrance
    From June through September every year the Sculpture Park seeks persons interested in serving as Park Greeters and/or Tour Guides for groups who visit the Park. Time commitment: 1-2 days per week; 1-2 days per month; 1-2 group guides per season (4-5 hours per day of service) as fits personal schedule. Opportunity requires a one-time two- hour training is held in May prior to the Season Opening.
  • Sculpture Park Garden Assistant
    From April through July 4th every year the Sculpture Park seeks persons interested to contribute 1-2 days or more to assist in preparing the Park for the upcoming season. Time commitment: 1-2 days (3 hours per day)
  • Sculpture Park Sculptors Installation Coordination Assistance
    From April through June every year new juried sculpture are installed in the Park. Also, some re-siting of sculpture is planned to upgrade Park areas. Time Commitment: 1 Day @ 3 hours
  • Sculpture Adoption Program Coordination
    From June through September there is a need to have Sculptures checked for safety, cleanliness, and proper signage. The volunteer would take the sculpture list and check for signage, safety, and cleanliness and report back to one of the Sculpture Park Co-Directors. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours
  • Sculpture Park Event Manager and Coordinator
    From July through September there are several events scheduled at the Park. An event's manager is needed for each individual event. Interested persons should contact one of the Co-Directors to select the event of interest.
  • Sculpture Park Maintenance Assistance
    From early May through June, and again in September through early November, there are specific maintenance projects that are needed. Time Commitment: 1-2 hours to 3-4 hours and projects could be selected according to the time available by the volunteer.
  • Sculpture Park Art Workshops, Family Art Days Assistance
    From July through early September docents, artists, artist's assistants, and materials coordinators are needed for Family Art Days, Artists Workshops, and special programming. Time Commitment: 3-4 hours per event.
