Game Night at the End of the World is one in a series called “Paintings at the End of the World,” and like most of my paintings, could be an illustration from some dark, allegorical storybook that hasn’t yet been written. My commissioned portraits look as if the subject might have been living in the corner of one of my larger paintings. Human faces make me itch to paint.
