Join us on Saturday, October 24 for this free Family Art Days class with instructor Amy Plant!
Draw inspiration from artist Joseph Cornell’s Shadow Memory Boxes, or “Poetic Theaters” of story. Make your own miniature scene inside a small box frame, using decoupage and assemblage with found objects. A treasure trove of materials will be provided. Consider bringing small items from home such as photos, maps, tickets, book pages, pictures, shells, board game pieces, buttons and tiny toys.
About Family Art Days (FAD)
Family Art Days (FAD) are designed for kids aged 5 and up to explore fun, creative projects alongside a parent or other supportive adult. All materials for each Family Art Days class are provided by SJIMA.
