About the Event
This year, SJIMA's SJI Cares County Fair Giving Campaign is entirely dedicated to one goal: keeping Family Art Days free for every child on San Juan Island.
Why Family Art Days
Family Art Days is SJIMA's year-round, hands-on art education program for children ages 5 and up, offered completely free to the community. Four eight-class series run throughout the year — Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter — giving kids a full calendar of opportunities to create alongside a parent, grandparent, mentor, or friend. All materials are provided at no cost, and families are welcome to visit SJIMA's current exhibitions free of charge right after class, extending the day's creative experience into the galleries.
