The exhibition offers a collection of 26 oil paintings, capturing the atmosphere and the magic of the Northwest landscape, with views of the coast, farmland and mountain visages. They encapsulate the many moods and the ever-changing skies of western Washington. Edmonds, WA based artist Andy Eccleshall has been a professional artist for more than 40 years. Originally from the UK, he feels perfectly at home here in the Northwest weather and landscape. In his paintings the artist strives to place the viewer in the scene, hoping that the paintings evoke a sense of the wind, the rain, and the sun. He works in a large format as he feels that it helps manifest the natural drama and vast panoramas of Western Washington.
