SJIMA is pleased to re-introduce live Family Art Days (FAD) onsite sessions upstairs at the museum!
In conjunction with the current Artists Registry show at SJIMA running through February 20,
AR artists will present the first five workshops, and veteran FAD instructor Lana Hickman will
lead the final three workshops of this winter series.
JANUARY 21 WORKSHOP: DOODLE DRAMA with Francie Hansen
In this class, Francie Hansen - of Trashion Fashion fame - says that people who come to her doodling session can "just show up ready to play and let their fingers do the talking." No conscious thought or control is necessary. Relaxing and having fun are the most important part of this kind of drawing, and you may well be surprised by the results!
