FAD LIVE CLASS: MAKE A MOSIAC with Lori Ann David

SJIMA is pleased to re-introduce live Family Art Days (FAD) onsite sessions upstairs at the museum!

In conjunction with the current Artists Registry show at SJIMA running through February 20,

AR artists will present the first five workshops, and veteran FAD instructor Lana Hickman will

lead the final three workshops of this winter series.

JANUARY 28  WORKSHOP:  MAKE A MOSIAC with Lori Ann David

In this class, enjoy learning the principles and techniques used in mosaic art. An accomplished sculptor and award-winning mosaic artist Lori Ann David from San Juan Island will walk you through making a bird feeder dish/bird bath with materials from her studio (one per family–a great project to make together!). While this project may seem simple, she will teach you the same principles, techniques, materials, and skills used in her monumental large outdoor work.
