ATRIUM
Lee Imonen
Lee Imonen’s work is centered on the relationships between people and the objects and spaces with which they surround themselves. The work is intended to create a reflective space for the viewer to understand their relationship to the sculptural object, the spaces they inhabit and their role as consumers in the broader world.
This piece was based on the burner forms once found throughout the Northwest, Burner highlights the tension between our dependance on natural materials and our need to balance our consumption of these resources.
