Winter Family Art Days at SJIMA
This winter SJIMA is bringing an opportunity for children five and older accompanied by at least one adult (family, friend or mentor) to create in free workshops led by artists who are currently exhibiting in the museum.
Each workshop focuses on the medium the instructors work in and will include a visit with the artist to the exhibition to see their work hanging in the gallery. This is an extraordinary opportunity for young (and young at heart) creatives to be mentored by San Juan Islands based artists in the context of the museum.
January 20th—Alice Hibberd—Intuitive Collage
January 27th--Rachel Dietzman--Landscapes in Watercolor
February 3--Katey Rissi--Natural Dye Monoprints
February 10--Francie Hansen--Amazing Assemblages
February 17--Lauryl Gaumer & Derek Castro--Sketching Something Sculpturally
