Dear SJIMA Supporters,
In August, SJIMA planned a signature event and fundraiser at the San Juan Community Theatre featuring A Conversation with Beckwith & Fisher. Unfortunately, the Delta virus cases were rising at just that time. We canceled the event in consultation with the County Health Department.
We were all very disappointed to miss this presentation, especially after all the efforts Carol made to get to Friday Harbor.
The alternate plan was to film the talk which Carol did for SJIMA, so all could view it at a later date. That day has arrived.
We owe a debt of gratitude to Carol and the exhibition sponsors Glen Moreno and Marilee Wood. We thank the Conversations sponsors Dave Ralston and Don Pollard for their encouragement and underwriting. Gerard and Karen Woldtvedt graciously donated their filming and editing talents and Mark Kyle pitched in to help edit and enhance the sound.
