Rebecca Moore, Ph.D. Emerita Professor of Religious Studies at San Diego State University. Dr. Moore will discuss how the Islamic faith has shaped and influenced the culture of Afghanistan.

Marnie Gustavson is a tireless activist for women and children. She is Executive Director of PARSA, an NGO building Healthy Afghan Communities.
Paths to Understanding: Afghanistan

Terry Kyllo is a Lutheran pastor and Executive Director of Paths to Understanding, a multi-faith peacemaking organization. James Longley is Friday Harbor’s Oscar-nominated filmmaker and photographer. His exhibit Looking into Kabul at SJIMA combines vast panoramic images with portraits and film focusing on everyday life in Kabul's old city.
The LOOKING INTO KABUL exhibit is showing until September 12 along with LATTICE II, an atrium installation by Henry Jackson-Spieker. Hours are Thursday- Monday 11-5 and extra summer hours Thursday-Saturday 7-9 pm. Admission is $10 with members and those 18 and under are admitted free of charge. Mondays are Pay As You Can Days.
